Record types

If a form maps to an object with more than one active record type, Sliick Forms needs to know which one to use. Open Settings in the top bar of the builder and find the Record types section.

It lists only objects where there is a real choice to make: an object with a single active record type never appears, because the platform default already handles it.

1. For each listed object, pick the record type from the dropdown.
2. An object left unchosen shows Not chosen, and publishing is blocked until you pick one. You can still save the rest of your settings: only Publish itself is gated.
3. The choice applies only to records this form creates. A submission that matches and updates an existing record keeps whatever record type that record already has. A form never retypes a record it did not create.

On a person-account org, an Account-mapped form always has to choose, even where only one Account record type is active. See Person accounts.
