The Admin Dashboard is now the hub for managing forms.
Building forms
Section titled “Building forms”- A drag-and-drop canvas, with per-field delete and undo, and a redesigned inspector.
- Pages have their own tab bar. Every page can be named, given rules and duplicated.
- Name a form first, and its external ID is derived from the name.
- Sections are real groups. A rule on a section hides everything inside it.
- Sections can be collapsed on longer forms. Answers are kept and required fields still apply.
- Repeating groups can be nested and show columns, description text and hidden values in every row.
- Record type mapping is required before publishing where an object has more than one.
Respondents
Section titled “Respondents”- One public page can serve every form. Leave the form ID blank and it is taken from the web address.
- A closed form tells respondents that it is closed.
- Answers a respondent could not see never reach your records.
Responses
Section titled “Responses”- A responses console lets you open a response, preview processing and correct answers in place.
- Corrections are stored alongside the response, so the original answers are never altered.
- Share links use a per-form address or an org-wide template, and say so when neither is set.
