Signature tags for documents from other systems
Any system that can put text into a PDF can target Sliick Docs e-signature. Write a tag where each field belongs, and the composer places the fields and builds the signer list from them, instead of you placing everything by hand.
The tag
Section titled “The tag”{{@Signature:Role:Order:Type}}
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
Role | Names the signer role the field belongs to. |
Order | That role’s position in the signing order. |
Type | The kind of field to place, a signature or a date, for instance. |
Tags from other products are read too
Section titled “Tags from other products are read too”Documents carrying DocuSign-style anchors or Adobe Acrobat Sign text tags are read as well, so a template built for one of those products keeps working the moment it arrives here.
Anything placed from a tag can be moved or removed before you send, exactly like a field you placed yourself. See Sending a document.
Note: templates you author as a Word file can carry the same signature tags, so the placement travels with the document from the moment it is generated. See Word-file templates.
