Combine a record's PDFs

Any PDF already on a record, from any source, can be merged into a single document in whatever order you choose. It lives as a Combine PDFs tab alongside Template and Bundle on the same Sliick Docs Generator record-page component.

  1. Open the Sliick Docs Generator on the record and switch to the Combine PDFs tab.
  2. Under Choose PDFs and put them in order, every PDF already attached to the record is listed under On this record. Add the ones you want to Combine in this order, then drag, or use the row controls, to reorder them.
  3. Click Combine PDFs.
  4. Once Your combined PDF is ready, either Download it or Save to record to attach the merged file to the record’s Files.

Combining a record's PDFs into one file, in the order you choose

It is a genuine merge, not a re-render: every source page carries through exactly as it already exists, so a scanned contract, a generated cover letter and a signed appendix come together as one file with nothing recompiled. It runs in your browser against the same native engine that powers e-signature, so no external rendering service is involved, and it is available in full on the free plan with no premium capability required.

Note: a file that cannot be merged, meaning an opaque handle or one too large for Salesforce’s read limits, is listed separately with the reason rather than silently dropped from the list.

Combining differs from a bundle: a bundle renders several templates into one document, while this merges files that already exist. See Multi-template bundles.
