List-view mass action

A one-line custom list button lets end users tick records and trigger a batch generation without building a Flow and without an admin involved at runtime. An admin adds the button once per object; after that it is self-service.

  1. Go to Setup > Object Manager and pick the object: Account, Opportunity, Contact, Case, Lead, Order, or any custom object.
  2. Open Buttons, Links, and Actions and click New Button or Link.
  3. Set Display Type to List Button with Display Checkboxes (for Multi-Record Selection) ticked.
  4. Set Behavior to Display in existing window with sidebar and Content Source to URL.
  5. Set the URL to /flow/Generate_Sliick_Docs_From_List_View.
  6. Save, then add the button to the list view’s Search Layouts > List View layout.

The same button URL works for every object: the object type is detected automatically from the records you select.

  1. From any list view with the button installed, tick up to 200 records.
  2. Click Generate Sliick Docs in the list-view button bar.
  3. Pick a template that matches the object’s base object, and an output format (PDF or Word).
  4. Submit. The batch lands in the Doc Batches console with full status monitoring.

Note: 200 records per click is the Salesforce list-view selection cap, not a Sliick Docs setting. For larger runs, submit a batch by filter or by report instead.
