1.0.0

Released 5 October 2026.

  • If your org had Sliick Forms before 1.0, add the Column value once in Setup: Object Manager, Form Element, Fields & Relationships, Type, New, value Column. Until you do, a Columns block cannot be saved, and the builder tells you so. New installs need nothing.
  • Forms built before 1.0 keep working and keep serving their published version. Open each one in the builder and choose Upgrade to save it in the new format.
  • A form that is active but was never published, and uses a Section, Columns block or repeating group from before 1.0, is not shown to respondents until you open it in the builder and save it. Then use Retry on its responses.
  • Blueprint files exported before 1.0 cannot be imported. Export the form again from the upgraded org.
  • A version published before 1.0 keeps being served but cannot be restored.
  • Sections, Columns blocks and repeating groups now hold the fields placed in them, and a new block starts empty.
  • Every field belongs to one place: the page, a section, a column or a repeating group. It stays there until you move it.
  • Blocks are cards in the builder. The ▲ and ▼ buttons swap a field with its neighbour in the same block, and each card’s ⋯ menu offers Duplicate, Move into, Move out and Delete.
  • Drag and drop shows where something will land.
  • Number of columns offers 1 to 4.
  • Deleting a block asks first. Keep fields moves them out to where the block was.
  • Opening a form built before 1.0 asks “Upgrade it now?”. Opening a form never saves it by itself.
  • When lots of responses arrive at once, every one is now kept.
  • Checking for duplicates stays fast as responses build up.
  • Record Ids that differ only by upper and lower case are marked Suspected duplicate. Use 18-character Ids as link ids to avoid this. See Suspected duplicates.
  • Email answers must be a real address, such as name@example.com.
  • The Admin Dashboard has a new Email tab. Choose which organisation-wide address form emails are sent from, with a warning if the address is not ready to send.
  • Hide Save and continue later on a single form, from its Theme panel.
  • Blueprints copy cleanly between forms, and an import tells you whether it created or updated the form.
  • A form that is not switched on for your public Sliick Edge address stays off it.
  • The Share tab, builder palette and publish dialog are tidier.

Please upgrade to 1.0.0. Older versions may not work with the latest Sliick Edge updates. See Hosting on Sliick Edge.
