Components on Experience Cloud pages
The Sliick Photo Gallery and Sliick File List can be placed on authenticated Experience Cloud pages as well as internal record pages. This page covers what changes when you do.
Add a component to a community page
Section titled “Add a component to a community page”- Open the Experience Builder page you want the component on.
- Drag Sliick Photo Gallery or Sliick File List onto the page.
- Set Record ID to the record whose images the component should show.
- Set the display options as you would on an internal page: display mode, grid columns, grid rows, maximum height and topic filter.
What portal users can do by default
Section titled “What portal users can do by default”Community pages are detected automatically, and the components come up in a deliberately safer state:
- Destructive and sensitive actions are hidden: delete, replace, restore, retry and share.
- Tag editing is off.
- The photo editor is off, so images are view-only.
- Version history is read-only.
Two properties let you hand back the ones you want:

Note: Share links never appear on Experience Cloud pages, whatever your storage provider.
Because the same record can show more controls inside Salesforce than it does on a portal page, tell your portal users what they should expect to see. Otherwise a missing edit or retry button reads as a fault.
One more setting on your storage
Section titled “One more setting on your storage”If you store images in your own cloud storage, add your community’s domain to the list of origins your bucket or container accepts requests from. Without it, uploads from the portal fail even though the same upload works inside Salesforce. Each provider guide in the Sliick Files documentation shows where that list lives.
