What Sliick Cloud Storage is
Read this if you want files out of Salesforce storage but do not want to run a cloud account of your own. Sliick Cloud Storage is the simplest cloud option: Sliick operates the storage, and there is nothing to create on a provider’s side.

How your files are kept apart
Section titled “How your files are kept apart”Each org’s files are stored under a prefix of their own, organised by Salesforce object type. Access is granted per request, for your org’s prefix only, so there is no way to reach another org’s files. Your org never receives or stores long-lived storage credentials.
Keys rotate on their own
Section titled “Keys rotate on their own”File operations use short-lived links that expire in minutes, and the key behind them rotates automatically on a schedule you never see. The old key stays valid for a short window, so in-flight requests are never disrupted. There is nothing for you to rotate or re-enter.
What is different from your own storage
Section titled “What is different from your own storage”- Deletes are permanent. A file deleted from Sliick Cloud Storage cannot be restored from the Deleted Files tab, because there is no bucket versioning or soft delete behind it. Every other external provider keeps a recoverable copy where you have enabled the provider’s own protection.
- Two-way sync is not offered. The Sync section does not appear for Sliick Cloud Storage.
Before you can use it
Section titled “Before you can use it”Sliick Cloud Storage is enabled for your org by Sliick after onboarding. Connecting registers your org automatically, but the commercial entitlement starts switched off. If connecting reports that your org is not entitled, contact Sliick.
